Hey Ladies....Okay I need some advice...I have been contemplating purchasing this palette for about two weeks, but I am STILL unsure....Here's a quick swatch video from Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IA-l1GfYJxs
There are some really great colors and it's $30.99 w/ Free Shipping over at Beauties-Factory. I think it may be similar to the Coastal Scents palette...
What do you all think??? Worth $31 or no...Check the video and tell me what u think!

Can someone plz tell me how to post the actual Youtube vid to my post....I couldn't get it to work..hence, the link instead of the video
You use the embed code instead of the url....
and i also have contemplated getting a palette...and now they have the fake Ben Nye-esque palette that sparks my interest.
But I'm still skeptical...I would love to see it on brown skin...
There's a girl on youtube...search 'vmarie' and she has lots of videos using the palette...She's actually who got me thinkin about getting it (she's a brown girl).. I think the trick is just making sure you use a good primer or base.
Snap!
she is...Thanks...
girl...i know exactly how you feel cause i was thinking about getting it for like MONTHS! haha i kept seeing it on youtube videos..then i kept wishing i had it...and my will power isn't very strong when it comes to makeup...lol...so i broke down and bought it..still waiting on it to come...i will let you know how it is...seems really pigmented tho!!
well did you ever get it? lol... i'm still on the fence. i bought my own 88 piece CS palette and have yet to use it.. wasn't as impressed with my swatches. but if the proof is in the pudding on youtube.. get it!
This palette looks awesome! You should try it! Thanks for visiting the blog! I love your blog design. Who did it??
Ok, so I watched youtube videos about this palette for weeks and broke down and bought it. I LOVE it. There are a lot of really nice bright colors, shimmers, mattes... lots to choose from.
That being said, you definitely need a good primer or base. And a mixing medium for the brighter matte colors wouldn't hurt either. I've noticed that a lot of the brighter mattes create pretty bad fallout. And a mixing medium can help combat some of that along with blotting instead of wiping the shadows on. The shimmers colors I haven't had any problems with though :-).
All in all, I think it's worth the money. You just have to know how to apply it. This is my first palette and I LOVE it! I say go for it!
Alyssia, thank you for the compliment on my blog. So sweet! I appreciate it. You funny too! Okay, so what's the deal on the palette, I would like to get one, do they have a natural earth tone palette for black women? That a good price. I linked your blog too, sorry meant to do it earlier.
I used
Dark purple AQ-MehronAQ Pastel Palette(Base)
Milani Wild Violets Quad-Bottom Right Purple on Lid, Bottom Left Purple in Inner Corner, Top Right Purple from Crease almost to highlight
Ben Nye Cosmic Blue-Crease
Urban Decay Oil Slick-Crease
Urban Decay Polyester Bride-Highlight
Buy it from another buy on EBAY.
I seen one like $24 with free shipping.
But either way, it's worth the buy.
