Hey yall...
WELL...today I was stressed the HELL out. First of all, I thought I had found an apartment...actually I did find one. I got approved, paid my app. fee and gave them the check for the sec. deposit. THEN, the lady I dealt with calls me 4 hours later and says that her boss wants me to pay $600 more...by like...FRIDAY. I don't have that kind of money. I'm a student working part time...and my mom is in the middle of relocating (so clearly I wouldn't ask her). I can't pull that type of money outta my ass. So I ultimately ended up sayin' F* it....cuz they had been giving me the run around since the first day I went to see the apartment....they tried to take advantage of me b/c they knew how young I was, but I'm far from stupid. So to hell with them, and now I'm looking for another apartment...and I have to move in within the next month. I just want to pull my hair out! So....I went to Meijer to relieve some stress (for those who don't know, Meijer is just like Target or Wal-Mart, but I think they're only in the Midwest). Anyways.....so this is what I bought :

Most of this stuff I didn't REALLY need. BUT I"m sure I'll find a use for it! I got the Rimmel lipstick to experiment w/ the holiday look seen below. My girl Nessa over at Nessasary Makeup [
http://www.nessasarymakeup.com/ ] recommended the Milani e/s as a MAC dupe so I'll have to play around with that. If you're wondering why I got Rimmel, it was cuz it was all on sale for half off. And I LOVE LOVE the Palmer's Lip Butter...it smells soooo good! I got it to use at night and after I exfoliate my lips...I'll tell you guys how it works out! Oh, and I love the color of the nail polish....initially I was looking for Acoustic Azure by Maybelline (shown by Kia over at Yummy 411) but I couldn't find it anywhere...SO the search was on for a dupe and this is what I came up with! I'll polish them tomorrow so you guys can see the color....

Nessa's Holiday look from Nessasary Makeup...I don't really like how it came out....it just doesn't scream HAPPY HOLIDAYS, to me! I think it may be because the lipstick was more of a coral color than I thought it would be.....Do ya'll have any suggestions?????

I have been looking for a dup for the Acoustic Azure also. I will have to check the wet and wild color out.
atiyah- yeah...the wnw colors are cheap. Theyre usually $1 at walgreens and CVS, but i find it for like...47 CENTS!
i feel you girl! moving situations are always stressful. hang in there. you'll find a much better place to stay anyways :)
i bought the Superstay Lipgloss by Maybelline in Radiant Ruby. it's a nice blunt shade of red. perhaps it could work for you. but i have to admit that i keep getting drawn to MAC's Classic Dame in the Mattene collection. i swatch it every time i visit the store but put it back because i can't wear anything that'll come right off my lips (got the kids, hah).
Ohmigoodness, I so remember going through the run around with apartments. It's the absolute WORSE! Many blessings with that! I have Milani Shock but I have a hard time using it because it's a bit frosty on meee....ugh! But you've inspired me to play around with it some more. I love Rimmel products. Simply fab. I love your FOTDs. The lip color is beautiful on you! Keep up the fab work, babes!

And whatchu know about some Palmers? I use the cocoa butter stick as my lip balm. It works wonders!
afrodite- Girl! People sleep on palmers! I use the lotion, cocoa butter solid...and NOW the lip butter! I need to be a spokeswoman for Palmer's [lol]
hey i think i saw this fotd before, but i thought i commented. it's gorgeous. wow, i have rimmels ballistic and it's one of my fav shades of red for me, but it's def more coral on you. if you want a red red, but it may not be as blue base of a red as you may need for fall.. but rimmel scream is seriously red. i found ballistic by looking for scream. try to use a concealor or your foundation all over your lips, use the color and a deeper red gloss or liner. i wonder how that will work for you....
